Coming Soon: What Happens When Logic Meets Wonder
Kreatio's Edition 1 launches next week. It’s where the real creative journey begins.
Note: This isn’t a typical edition. It's a preview what’s coming and a glimpse of what you can expect from Kreatio.

Wassily Kandinsky's Composition VIII (1923)
Composition VIII (above) is abstract, structured, and playful, capturing the intersection between rigor and imagination at the heart of Kreatio. Before pioneering abstract art, Kandinsky taught law and economics, reminding us that your background doesn’t have to define your future and crossing disciplines can lead to bold new forms of expression.
The journey to unlock creativity often takes unexpected turns. In upcoming editions of this newsletter, we’ll explore proven paths and unconventional ways creativity shows up in thinking, work, and life, examining how analytical thinking and wonder can coexist to create something remarkable.
“Where logic ends, wonder begins.”
What’s Coming: Creative Twists, Big Ideas, and a Few Mental Backflips
Our upcoming explorations will push boundaries and question assumptions:
When Wagging and Dodging Wasn’t Enough: The true story of a man who created the very thing chasing to kill him just in time to save himself.
The Logic of Illogic: Why having the courage to do what seems illogical might be your smartest creative move.
Think Different: I wish this was a product placement from Apple, but it’s a grammatically incorrect way to introduce sometimes thinking like a child or a beginner will transform your creative thinking.
Cross-Disciplinary Conversations

Creativity thrives at the edges. In upcoming editions, we’ll spotlight conversations with artists, entrepreneurs, investors, and professors. These are diverse minds tackling creative challenges across different domains. You’ll walk away with insights and strategies you can apply across disciplines.
These conversations will be complemented by Kreatio-curated stories, inspiring anecdotes, enlightening failures, useful frameworks, resource recommendations, and reflections from my own creative journey, all aimed at helping you think more expansively and act more creatively.
“Creativity thrives at the intersections.”
Actionable Creative Prompts
Big ideas are great, but not if they stay trapped in your head. Upcoming editions will include concrete prompts designed to:
Explore ideas across domains to build a richer creative toolkit
Flex between razor-sharp focus and relaxed wander
Combine unrelated ideas in surprising ways
Encourage expansive thinking from unique angles
Nudge you out of familiar patterns and into fertile creative territory
Inspire original thinking
And more!
One Thing Before I Start … Creativity and Play are Best Friends
Is life a game?
If you mean the board game, The Game of Life, then yes.
And the other, more important kind of life?
James P. Carse's "Finite and Infinite Games" proposes that all human activities can be categorized as either finite games (played to win within boundaries, with known players and fixed rules) or infinite games (played to continue play, with changing boundaries, evolving rules and rotating participants), suggesting that approaching life as an infinite game, where the purpose is sustainable growth and continued meaningful participation rather than defeating others, leads to greater creativity, resilience, and fulfillment.
So, how do you invite games (the more playful kind) into your creative life?
Start small. It’s the doodle in your notebook’s margins. The absurd “what if” question. Singing like no one’s listening (even if your cat is judging).
Play strips away the pressure of perfection, inviting you to mess up, laugh, and try again.
It’s not for everyone, but if you're curious, here are a couple of online games to try just for fun. Seriously, play something, anything for five minutes, even if you’re super busy.
Creativity as a Collective Journey
Interestingly, some of my best ideas emerged when I wasn’t trying, like in the back seat of a car, stuck in traffic. Later, those ideas connected to other seemingly unrelated ideas. Other times, breakthroughs came from rigorous, focused thinking. Kreatio exists to help engender your ideas and give them a beautiful life.
This isn’t just a newsletter, it’s a creative journey we take together. Your curiosity, questions, experiences, and experiments will help shape what comes next. We’ll blend rigor with wonder and transform how we think, create, and grow in new ways.
Join us and discover what only your creativity can unlock.
